Manomoy Das had been associated in formal learning of fine arts from Vishwa Bharti affiliated Art Institute early in his life. He has been engaged with fine arts for the last 40+ years. His work predominantly is in contemporary cubic style on specific themes and is a Story-teller on canvas. He experiments with different textures and art forms, like introducing relief work into oil paintings and has developed his unique style of infusing monochrome shades within vibrant colour palettes. Most of his recent paintings as based on Indian Folk themes. He has exhibited his art works at numerous national and international art exhibitions and has been a recipient of multiple prestigious awards. One of his artworks is being exhibited at the prestigious Raja Hari Singh Palace Museum in Jammu.
