My paintings are figurative in nature. Acrylic on canvas. Starting with spontaneous gestural
brushstrokes, a story develops as I find my subject within those strokes. The focus is on forms, colour and the overall story. The forms engage the viewer to interpret the paintings in their own way. Therefore, every painting presents itself differently to different viewers. Using a limited harmonious colour palette I try to tell the story of the beauty of life, of people and their interaction with the environment. I like my paintings to exude a sense of contentment and happiness.
